Abstract

Este trabajo se ha planteado como objetivos el análisis de la evolución de la eficiencia y sus factores determinantes por medio del análisis no paramétrico DEA y la utilización del método de Simar y Wilson (2007) en las empresas pertenecientes a 27 sectores de agricultura, servicios y manufactura colombiana en el período 2005-2010. Los resultados obtenidos permiten concluir la posibilidad de mejora de los niveles de eficiencia de forma generalizada. Los factores determinantes de la eficiencia han sido concentración del mercado, la cuota de mercado y el tamaño empresarial. || This work has proposed, as objectives, the analysis of the evolution of efficiency and its determinants through nonparametric analysis DEA factors and use of the method by Simar and Wilson (2007) to companies belonging to 27 sectors of agriculture, services and Colombian manufacturing in the period 2005-2010. The results so obtained indicate the possibility of improving efficiency levels across the board. The determinants of efficiency have been market concentration, market share and corporate size.
