Competition Policy and its Implementation in Romania

Abstract

This paper aims to highlight the importance of competition policy for the operation of a freemarket economy at optimal parameters. Compliance with its provisions by Romanian companies issupervised nationally by the Competition Council, authority whose activity during the period 2012-2015 is analyzed in the frame of the present paper.
