Management of Quay Crane Exploitation in Constanta Harbour Area

Abstract

Most of the quay crane work activites can be reported to the following five functions of management: planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling. Taking into consideration the connection between management functions and management of quay crane exploitation, the work of the craner can be improved. This paper presents the functions of management applied to quay crane exploitation.
