Abstract

This paper aims to examine the implementation of economic policies and reviewing the progress of economic integration. The last wave of globalization started in the '80s in order to promote economic equity and managed to contribute to poverty reduction. As a result, the economic costs associated with employment protection, culture and environment incurred by developing countries have diminished. The essential element in reducing poverty is the development of international trade. States that oppose globalization have become the most poorly developed. It is assumed that increased globalization leads to increased income of the poor in developing countries.
