New developments in science—industry linkages in Poland

Abstract

Using three recently established institutions, each a different example of academy—industry relations in Poland, this investigates the move towards a market economy. All these organisations are new, small and high- or medium-technology oriented. They all suffer from a lack of adequate support from local and central government. Will they survive?
