Knowledge, chaos and public policy

Abstract

The rational paradigm has been ingrained in scientific thought for centuries, but it does not represent the non-linear world in which we live. The development of chaos theory has brought new ideas to scientific analysis. This paper shows how it can be used to describe and analyse public policy-making. Copyright , Beech Tree Publishing.
