Environmental Perceptions and Policy Misconceptions

Abstract

Several social institutional states and environmental perception processes are analyzed to ascertain why examination of environmental problems and solutions within a holistic framework often does not lead to expected rational solutions. Implication of these factors for policy analyses leads to the conclusion that such analyses can be improved by expanding the scope of the traditional economic model.
