La démocratie et l'éducation universitaire au Nigéria : Quelques considérations d'ordre constitutionnel

Abstract

On examine dans cet article les incidences de la quatrième Constitution républicaine sur l’éducation universitaire au Nigeria. On y étudie plus précisément les dispositions relatives à l’éducation contenues dans la nouvelle Constitution démocratique du Nigeria et le retentissement qu’elles semblent appelées à avoir sur la planification et l’administration de l’éducation universitaire au cours de la période post-militaire. On y fait valoir que la démocratie naissante fait d’une gouvernance démocratique des universités un impératif absolu.
