Woher kommen Werte für Führungskräfte?

Abstract

Karl Homann, whose business ethics is committed to an institutional-ethical approach that works with methods of economics, also dealt with the individual-ethical question of the social responsibility of business elites and in this context, addressed the issue of »leading with values« – oriented towards moral criteria rather than economic utility. This article locates this individual-ethical approach in the context of Homann's oeuvre on institutional ethics and critically examines it with reference to Hans Joas' pragmatist reflections on the emergence of values.
