Abstract

The relevance of the issues, surrounding the values is especially increasing in the context of European integration of Bulgaria. The attention to the cultural roots and national characteristics is determined by the fact that they are increasingly recognized as an important factor in the development of human society, "... as a depository of forms of behavior, symbols and commonly significant meanings, providing its stability and continuity." The mere transition to a new type of social-economic structure requires new thinking, attitudes and values, new models of economic behavior. Every Bulgarian is facing a serious challenge to correct, update and adapt his or hers own value system to the new realities.
