Modern Requirements For Education And Training Of Human Resources In Tourism – The Model Of Higher School “Agricultural College”, Plovdiv

Abstract

A matter of scientific research in the present paper are some new, modern models for training and educating the human resources in tourism which will cover the needs of certain planing regions, as well as the oppurtunities for receiving and EU subsidy for this. The question of present interest is determined by the fact that the growing tourism industry experience a strong necessity for well-trained and educated humanresources, which are to be employed rapidly and to generate quickly competitive tourism services. Such a response to the needs of the tourism industry is being provided by the colleges, such as the Higher School “Agricultural College”, Plovdiv though the major “Toourism Economics” (alternative tourism).
