Temporary Methodological Aspects Of Statistical Science In The Dialog Between Power And Society

Abstract

This paper reviews the new reality of information society as e social mass phenomenon. It is caused by the use of new information and communication technologies in which information, knowledge, information market and public communication play a key role. This requires methodological changes in statistical science in regard with creating numeric information for populations and its transformation through analytical tools into knowledge for the dialog between power and society.
