Abstract

Basic requirement for the development of the ecotourism on the territory of the municipalities Sandanski and Petrich is the system of protected areas, which includes the following categories (noticed according to the Law Of Protected Areas, 1998), whose main aim is the protection and the preservation of the nature in the region: Preserve; National Park; Natural Landmark; Protected Area.
