Abstract

Transport communications are one of the basic components for the development of a certain area, as well as for the creation of comfort for the population – economising on free time. The intensification of urban transport communications cannot have another alternative. The urban structures are viable because of the short and fast connections. With more effective communications within the urban structure, the urban organism and economy are more viable and effective. Movement is of the stability-promoting kind when it does not jeopardize the population’s health, takes from their free time as little as possible and creates comfort. An important problem in the new schemes and plans is the correct planning of transport communications.
