The Coverage Of The Main Criteria In Stability And Growth Pact By The European Union Member States For The Period 2002-2015

Abstract

The coverage of the main criteria in Stability and Growth Pact by the EU member states has been examined for the period 2002-2015. The study results suggest that the EU member states failed to implementing the major criteria in Stability and Growth Pact is not a factor to provoke the Euro area debt crisis. Further reforms in institutional framework of economic and monetary union in EU in the current economic and political conditions.
