Abstract

Dans le cadre d’investigation de l’histoire transnationale les travaux classiques sur la culture matérielle et les comportements des consommateurs sont remis en question par une nouvelle historiographie. Cet article explore ce nouveau point de vue historiographique et propose une analyse du marché de la zone méditerranéenne en mettant l’accent sur les cas de la France et de l’Espagne. Au centre de cette analyse, se trouve l’examen du rôle des marchands, qui ont une influence très importante sur les décisions des consommateurs.
