Abstract

A un año de que la revista Contaduría y Administración forma parte del índice SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) en el área de Business Management and Accounting, es importarte comunicar que como resultado de la última evaluación publicada en julio de 2017 de dicho índice se logró posicionar a la revista en el cuartil Q3. Así mismo, y de igual importancia, es anunciar el nuevo posicionamiento de Contaduría y Administración en el Sistema de Clasificación de Revistas Mexicanas de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONACYT), ya que ha sido elevada a la categoría del cuartil Q3. Encaminar nuestra labor editorial hacia las evaluaciones de los índices significa atender el proyecto institucional de nuestra Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología y de los repositorios a los que la revista se ha integrado. El trabajo editorial de Contaduría y Administración, y sus resultados en los últimos 8 años, la sitúa en nuevos proyectos y etapas; pero, sobre todo, a un mayor compromiso y responsabilidad para con las autoridades universitarias, comunidad académica y lectores.
