Abstract

Contaduría y Administración está cumpliendo este año su quincuagésimo noveno aniversario, indudablemente una trayectoria en cierto sentido larga. La historia de esta revista se puede entender como una sucesión de fases que la han llevado a evolucionar hasta alcanzar su estado actual. En su primera etapa de vida, se caracterizaba como una revista dedicada a la difusión de los trabajos de investigación de profesores de la propia Facultad de Contaduría y Administración de la UNAM. Sin lugar a duda, el hecho de que el anterior Centro de Investigación se convirtiera en División de Investigación constituye un antecedente sumamente importante en la historia de la revista. Una consecuencia importante de ese cambio en denominación y estatus del Centro de Investigación, fue que la revista lograra convertirse en una publicación arbitrada por dictaminadores externos y haber ingresado al Índice de Revistas Mexicanas de Investigación del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (Conacyt).
