Abstract

Nature 389, 974–978; 1997 At the time of submission of this Letter, it escaped our attention that murine and human LANP sequences had previously been reported under different names in the following papers: Although the gene products reported in these papers were isolated from peripheral tissues, thelevels of LANP in cerebellar RNA are significantly higher than in peripheral tissues.
