Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación descriptiva,no experimentaly transversal, es detectar a través de una encuesta online la percepción que tienen los estudiantes de Contaduría y Alta Direcciónen la Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Pueblasobre su actuación en el cuidado del Medio Ambiente como futuros profesionistas en favor del Desarrollo Sostenible. La educación ambiental es una pieza esencial para lograr que los alumnos se interesen en el tema y tengan una buena perspectiva al respecto. El contador, a través de la contabilidad ambiental y la elaboración de reportes de sustentabilidad, tiene la capacidad de integrar un sistema de gestión ambiental que mida si los resultadosde las transacciones realizadas por la entidad son positivos o negativos para la sociedad y el medio ambiente. En esta investigación encontraremosque, con base en la encuesta aplicada, los futuros profesionistas del área contable cuentan con una buena perspectiva ambiental y podrán ser capaces de promover el desarrollo sostenible de las organizaciones donde laboren.
