Abstract

El artículo se basa en conceptos como universalidad, habilidades, competencias y teoría del conocimiento, se plantea la pregunta ¿qué tan preparados están los directivos de las empresas colombianas desde la perspectiva de las bases del conocimiento explícito en administración?, utiliza el enfoque estadístico clásico descriptivo y a través de encuesta, se indaga la formación profesional académica, nivel de estudios y sabidurías complementarias. El resultado evidencia que un porcentaje representativo de ejecutivos no tienen preparación en el área, aspecto preocupante basado en direccionamiento estratégico y gerencia. Se pretende dar continuidad a la línea de estilos gerenciales e indagar en un futuro sobre la situación en otros países.
