Abstract

El artículo tiene como propósito mostrar la situación de exclusión e inequidad de las mujeres rurales desde la perspectiva de género. Se hace una contextualización teórica del problema para luego mostrar los resultados del estudio en relación con tres categorías: oportunidades laborales; acceso a la educación y acceso a la salud. A partir de información secundaria y del trabajo de campo realizado con la población rural, mujeres y hombres de los Municipios de Chía, Funza y la Calera, se identificó la situación de vulnerabilidad social y económica en la que se encuentran las mujeres en relación con los hombres. La investigación siguió el enfoque cualitativo en dos fases: diagnóstico y caracterización. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron la entrevista estructurada y semiestructurada y el cuestionario de preguntas cerradas. La muestra estuvo conformada por 50 mujeres y hombres de las zonas rurales de los municipios señalados.
