La Existencia de Economía Sumergida: La Percepción de los Españoles sobre sus Efectos y sus Causas

Abstract

En España en 2013 la economía sumergida estimada ascendió a 196.000 millones de euros (18,6% del PIB). Un fenómeno que ha generado estudios que van desde la definición de su concepto hasta los medios para su cuantificación y sus efectos positivos y negativos. Las medidas empleadas para combatirla no han logrado reducir su tamaño y existe un claro distanciamiento entre las actuaciones de la Administración para erradicarla y la opinión de la ciudadanía. A través de una encuesta a 745 españoles se establece que perciben la existencia de economía sumergida, sus causas y son conscientes de sus efectos negativos.
