Evolución Conceptual de la Responsabilidad Social

Abstract

Desde hace varios años, la responsabilidad social ha estado en los discursos de las empresas, los políticos, las Organizaciones no gubernamentales, incluso Instituciones de educación superior y media superior. Pero, ¿qué es la responsabilidad social?, ¿En dónde nace?,¿Cómo ha evolucionado el concepto?, ¿Cuáles el concepto más aceptado actualmente? Este artículo tiene como objetivo presentar los orígenes de la responsabilidad social, desde su nacimiento en el ámbito empresarial (RSE) hasta su evolución en el ámbito organizacional (RSO);los diferentes enfoques que existen sobre esta; así como presentar un conjunto de definiciones que han ido construyéndose a lo largo de la historia para comprender la polisemia detrás de este concepto. Sé concluye que no existe una sola forma de comprenderla y mucho menos de llevarla a cabo en las organizaciones. Además es urgente un marco normativo en México que ayude a regular la responsabilidad social
