Abstract

"En este artículo se propone establecer la presencia dicotómica de dos bases valorativas al interior del modelo NIC- NIIF: valor razonable y costo histórico; así mismo, se pretende mostrar la impertinencia de la aplicación simultánea de los dos criterios del devengo, uno sustentado en la orientación clásica y el otro en la neoclásica del valor. El artículo suministra algunas bases teóricas que se consideran útiles en las discusiones de tipo teórico y técnico que los contables deben adelantar y, en tal sentido, se incluyen ciertas consideraciones relacionadas con la medición y la agregación contables. Se asume que el modelo NIC-NIIF contiene en su seno dos bases de valoración contradictorias, así como dos criterios opuestos de devengo, con los que su condición de modelo racional de valoración frente a cualquier objetivo, se ve comprometida."
