There is no growth without change - policy implications for transition economies

Abstract

Prolonged economic stagnation, which former socialist economies are facing since the crisis of 2008, suggests that fundamental economic problems inherited from the socialism have not been properly addressed by transition reforms. We develop a conceptual framework of sustained economic growth through continuous change
