Arte mural contemporáneo y sostenibilidad. El uso de estrategias transmedia para ejercer la ciudadanía

Abstract

Esta investigación propone analizar cómo el arte mural contemporáneo mexicano aborda temáticas de sostenibilidad ambiental, política y social, y de qué forma los artistas usan estrategias transmedia para ejercer la ciudadanía. Metodológicamente, se delineó una propuesta de Análisis Crítico del Discurso (ACD) que se enlaza con la etnografía digital. El corpus está formado por obras murales realizadas por 33 de los artistas más destacados en México actualmente que abordan temáticas de sostenibilidad y que divulgan sus murales en varios medios digitales. En un primer momento, se aborda la cuestión de la sostenibilidad ambiental, política y social, y se reflexiona sobre la importancia de la ciudadanía para los artistas. A continuación, se analiza el uso estratégico de la transmedialidad, destacando siete funciones transmedia que usan los artistas para fomentar la interactividad y el dialogo. Esto nos lleva a reflexionar sobre la imbricación de lo local y lo global en el ejerciciode la ciudadanía.
