Abstract

La educación en la mayoría de instituciones es “simultáneamente el depósito del mito de la sociedad, la institucionalización de las contradicciones de este mito, y el lugar donde ocurre el ritual que reproduce y encubre las disparidades entre el mito y la realidad” (Illich, 1975:52). El sistema escolar y sobre todo las universidades nos brindan la oportunidad de reflexionar y emancipar el mito de la educación y sus instituciones bajo una perspectiva crítica. En este sentido, desde Yeiyá presentamos el volumen La educación en el siglo XXI: retos, cambios y oportunidades.
