Az Észak-magyarországi és a Dél-alföldi régiók versenyképességének főbb mutatói

Abstract

Az elmúlt évtizedben, főleg a globalizációs folyamatok következtében a gazdaság és társadalom térbeli működése gyökeresen átalakult. Emiatt újra kell értékelnünk a régiók, térségek gazdasági fejlődésével és növekedésével, a gazdaságfejlesztéssel és területi politikával kapcsolatos korábbi álláspontokat. Az Európai Unióban is felgyorsult a globális fejleményekre, egyúttal a pénzügyi válságra adott válaszok kidolgozása. Az Európa 2020 elnevezésű, 2010 júniusában elfogadott stratégiai anyag az intelligens, fenntartható és inkluzív növekedés stratégiáját fogalmazza meg. Tanulmányunkban a regionális gazdasági növekedés új magyarázatait és az Európai Unió megújult célkitűzéseit követően áttekintjük az Észak-magyarországi és a Dél-alföldi régiók, megyéik és kistérségeik versenyképességének fontosabb mutatóit.
