Long-Run Purchasing Power Parity In Indonesia

Abstract

Tujuan dari studi ini adalah mempelajari hubungan jangka panjang Teori Paritas Kekuatan Membeli (Purchasing Power Parity, PPP) di Indonesia dalam era sistem kurs mata uang mengambang terkendali. Analsis dalam studi ini berdasarkan pada pendekatan kointegrasi. Perhitungan empiris dilakukan dengan menggunakan prosedur maximum likelihood dari Johansen, dimana perhatian khusus diberikan pada penentuan trend. Dua buah model PPP yang diteliti dalam studi ini adalah model PPP dengan WPI dan CPI sebagai variabel indeks harga. Dalam studi kami tidak melakukan pembatasan pada koefisien indeks harga.
