Abstract

Dekade 1980-an merupakan dekade yang penuh gejolak bagi perekonomian Indonesia. Berbagai shock, baik eksternal maupun internal, telah menempatkan Indonesia dalam posisi kritis, yang memaksa para pengelola perekonomian Indonesia untuk lebih berhati-hati. Artikel ini merupakan kilas balik atas pengalaman tersebut. Karakteristik berbagai shock tersebut dan langkah-langkah yang diambil untuk mengurangi dampaknya, termasuk berbagai kebijakan yang diarahkan untuk mengubah struktur perekonomian, ditinjau dalam artikel ini. Dalam kesimpulannya, penulis menunjukkan bahwa para pembuat kebijakan ekonomi Indonesia telah memperlihatkan prestasi yang cukup menonjol dalam crisis management
