Application of Optimization methods: The Case of Local Transmigration

Abstract

Metode optimisasi dengan program linear menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keuntungan maksimum yang dapat diperoleh petani lahan kering adalah Rp. 2.371.149,00 dan petani lahan pasang surut adalah Rp. 1.447.748,00. Dengan kendala lahan, tenaga kerja dan modal (uang) yang dihadapi saat ini, pertanian berkelanjutan pada pola tanam intensif pada padi, kedelai dan kacang tanah mampu memberikan pendapatan maksimum pada usaha tani lahan kering. Sedangkan kombinasi tingkat input rendah dengan penanggulangan hama yang memadai mampu menyumbangkan pendapatan terbesar pada usaha tani pasang surut. Makalah ini mengevaluasi penggunaan metode optimisasi khususnya pada usaha tani lahan kering dan pasang surut di lokasi transmigrasi local propinsi Lampung. Makalah ini pada akhirnya menawarkan beberapa kemungkinan perluasan dan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh metode optimisasi dalam ekonomi pertanian secara luas
