Abstract

Fokus tinjauan untuk nomor ini adalah membahas tentang perkembangan hutang luar negeri Indonesia. Pembubaran IGGI yang selama 23 tahun telah menjadi forum negara donor Indonesia sebagai akibat peristiwa Dili dan digantikan dengan forum baru dibawah Bank Dunia merupakan bagian yang menarik untuk dibahas pula. Menarik pula dibahas tentang bagaimara peranan lembaga donor khususnya Bank Dunia dalam mempengaruhi proses deregulasi di Indonesia. Adanya kecenderungan regionalisasi ekonomi di beberapa belahan dunia seperti Asean Free Trade Zone (AFTA) atau North American Trade Zone (NAFTA) merupakan bagian yang tidak kalah menariknya untuk dibahas dalam tinjauan nomor ini. Seperti diawali nomor pertama tahun 1992, tinjauan untuk nomor ini juga akan memasukkan perkiraan triwulanan perekonomian Indonesia.
