Small-Scale Industries In Indonesia

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menilai pola pengembangan industri kecil di Indonesia selama sepuluh tahun terakhir. Kemudian mencoba melihat seberapa jauh peran industri kecil ini daiam kaitan distribusi pendapatan. Terkait dengan kedua hal di atas, juga mengevaiuasi program dan kebijaksanaan pemerintah untuk pengembangan industri kecil ini. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa industri kecil masih dapat diharapkan daiam penyerapan tenaga kerja dan kesempatan memperoleh pendapatan bagi sebagian besar penduduk Indonesia. Ditunjukkan pula bahwa penyerapan tenaga kerja pada sektor industri kecil ini peranannya menurun, juga jumlah perusahaan (unit usaha) yang teriibat. Tidak dapat ditunjukkan oleh studi ini sampai seberapa jauh pengamh kebijaksanaan pemerintah daiam mempromosikan industri kecil telah berhasil
