Pengembangan Teknologi di Sektor Industri

Abstract

Technology has important role in production process, for example it can increases efficiency and productivity. Technology will have positif and negative impact to society includes social cost such as environment pollution and dissatisfaction. However, technology increases income growth rate per capita rapidly and reduce work hours. To some extent, technology can be obtained from abroad in the form of transfer of technology or by mean of acquiring it by his own in the form of innovations. The number of innovations depends cm the quality of human resource in the form of overall educational back­ ground and his human attitude to science. There are view points related to factors that influence to the development of new technology. If it is assumed that the capability and the wish of Research and Development investment for the sake of new technology development, so big scale firms are the most developing in technology, while G ruber put forward 3 factors that determine firm's wish in developing anc implementing new technology, namely competition, profitability, and market share.
