Abstract

Pengkajian mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengamhi tingkat kesuburan seorang Ibu merupakan langkah permulaan kearah pemilihan altematif kebijaksanaan kependudukan yang ada di Indonesia. Kebijaksanaan kependudukan bertujuan untuk memperkecil laju pertumbuhannya di masa yang akan datang. Tindakan ini adalah sejalan dengan usaha untuk mempercepat laju pertumbuhan pendapatan perkapita, analog dengan usaha untuk menciptakan masyarakat Indonesia yang sejahtera cukup makan pakaian pemmahan, pendidikan, dan sebagainya dalam waktu yang tidak lama.
