Tinjauan Triwulan Perekonomian Indonesia

Abstract

Beberapa indikator yang menunjukkan perkembangan resesi di Amerika Serikat akhir-akhir ini tampak makin jelas. Pertama, tentang laju pertumbuhan GNP (Gross National Product). Dalam triwulan ketiga tahun 1979 laju pertumbuhan GNP (riil) masih sedikit di atas 2.5% ekuivalen laju tahunan, kemudian dalam triwulan keempat tahun itu dan triwulan pertama tahun 1980 turun menjadi masing-masing kurang dari 2% ekuivalen laju tahunan. Dalam triwulan kedua tahun 1980 secara absolut diperkirakan telah turun artinya (kenaikan yang minus) dengan 8.5% ekuivalen laju tahunan. Jadi sebenarnya lebih jelek daripada perkiraan orang semula yang memperkirakan laju hanya minus 5.6% dalam triwulan kedua tahun 1980. Kemudian ada perkiraan bahwa laju pertumbuhan triwulan ke III & IV tahun ini masih akan minus sekitar masing-masing minus 8% dan minus 3%. Diperkirakan bahwa laju pertumbuhan ekonomi akan mulai pulih kembali permulaan tahun 1981.
