Abstract

Dalam Tinjauan Triwulan bulan Maret 1979 telah dikemukakan bahwa laju pertumbuhan ekonomi tahun 1978 diperkirakan masih sekitar 7%. Laporan BPS menunjukkan bahwa produksi nasional tahun 1978 (diukur berdasarkan perhitungan Produk Domestik Bruto) meningkat dengan 7,2%, sedangkan tahun 1977 tumbuh dengan laju 7,5%. Laju pertumbuhan demikian masih cukup jauh di atas laju pertumbuhan penduduk. Bilamana diperhitungkan laju pertumbuhan penduduk sebesar 2,2%, maka pendapatan per kapita meningkat dengan 5% setahun
