A Comment on Hananto Sigit's "Consequences of Changes in Fertility and Urbanization on Total Private Consumption

Abstract

Although it is true that in Dr. Hananto Sigit's article it was not his main purpose to discuss the consumption function as such it would seem useful to examine the consumption function for its correctness since obviously, using a function without knowing whether it is correct may lead one to wrong conclusions. This comment is directed to such an examination.
