Pembelian Padi Pemerintah Di Djawa Timur

Abstract

1. Dalam tahun-tahun jang lampau Pemerintah membutuhkan persediaan beras untuk keperluan distribusi dan indjeksi sebanjak kira-kira 1,2 djuta ton beras. Dari djumlab ini 0,4 djuta ton beras diperoleh dari pembelian dalam negeri dan 0,8 djuta ton lainnja diperoleh dari impor. 2. Dengan diharapkan berhasilnja Komando Operasi Gerakan Makmur maka Pemerintah mengharapkan pula bahwa Indonesia dapat mendjadi "self-supporting" beras dalam tahun 1962. Ini berarti bahwa pembelian dalam negeri tidak lagi tetap sebesar sediakala, tetapi paling tidak harus ditambahkan lagi dengan djumlah jang biasanja diperoleh dari impor.
