Staatsboekhouding Op Hoger Plan

Abstract

In de nununers van September en October 1952 van het Maandblad voor Accountancy en Bedrijfshui&houdkuode schreef Prof. Dr. A. Mey een tweetal artikelen over "Vermogensrechtelijke Staatshoekbouding versus kameraalstijl". Nu onder de vele vraagstukken, waarmede Indonesie worstelt, ook dat van de Staatsboekhouding behoort, kan het huttig zijn aan de gedachtengang van de Hooggeleerde schrijver hier ter plaatse aandacht te besteden en daarbij enkele aantekeningen te plaatscn. Prof. Mey kan er nl. ongetwijfeld aanspraak op maken als volledig deskundig op dit terrain te worden erkenfl. Hij is toch niet alleen bedrijfseconoom en accountant, maar trad tevens een aantal jaren als directeur der Rijksbegroting in Nederland op. In deze functie moderniseerde hij de Nederlandse staatsboekhouding en bracht hij de eerste Nederlandse staatsbalans tot stand. De hiermede bereikte resultaten hebben ook in het buitenland grote aandacht getrokken (U. S. A., Frankrijk, Belgie, Israel, Nieuw Zeeland).
