Az infokommunikációs szektor nemzetközi lassulása. Tőzsdei buborék vagy szabályozási hiba ?

Abstract

Cikkünkben arra a kérdésre keressük a választ, hogy miért lassult le az infokommunikációs szektor - azon belül a távközlés - látványos növekedése az ezredfordulón. Az elterjedt véleménnyel szemben, amely szerint a lassulást és stagnálást az információs vállalkozások tőzsdei árfolyamának visszaesése idézte elő, mi amellett érvelünk, hogy a hanyatlás fő oka a szektor szabályozási problémáiban keresendő. Egyszerű piaci szerkezeti modellek alkalmazásával bemutatjuk, hogy a szektor piaci liberalizálási folyamata miként vezetett az információs vállalatok - főként a távközlési cégek - fejlesztéseinek visszafogásához Magyarországon és nemzetközi méretekben.
