Új tendenciák a japán kutatás-fejlesztésben
[New tendencies in the Japanese research and development]

Abstract

Japánban lelassult a gazdasági növekedés, az ipar külföldre vándorol, vele együtt megkezdődött a K+F külföldre telepítése is, mindeközben pedig romlik a kutatás nemzetközi versenyhelyzete. Az .érett. gazdaság újabb szakaszában a K+F-től azt várják, hogy gyorsítsa meg a fejlődést és adjon biztonságot, jólétet az állampolgároknak. A K+F-adatok egyelőre nem tükröznek lényeges változást: a recesszió hatására a kutatási kiadások korábbi gyors növekedése megtorpant, a stagnálás pedig az ezredfordulóig várható alacsony gazdasági növekedés miatt elhúzódhat. A kormány viszont a költségvetési források beszűkülése ellenére is növeli a kutatási ráfordításokat, mert ezt a jövő zálogának tekinti. Ezen túl elősegíti a kutatási eredmények beáramlását a termelésbe úgy, hogy rugalmasabbá teszi az állami kutatóintézetek és a magánszektor közötti kapcsolatokat.
