Abstract

Tanulmányunk első részében áttekintettük három dél-európai ország Görögország, Spanyolország és Portugália európai integrációval kapcsolatos tapasztalatait, a fejlett országok utolérése terén elért igen különböző eredményeit és ennek főbb okait. A következőkben megvizsgáljuk, hogy az integráció hatására középtávon hogyan alakult át a három ország külkereskedelmének piac- és áruszerkezete, és ez hogyan hatott gazdaságuk modernizálására, növekedésük gyorsítására. A külkereskedelem dinamikus és strukturális változásainak elemzése nemcsak azért tanulságos az Európai Unióhoz csatlakozni készülő országok számára, mert jól mérhetően mutatja az eltérő kereskedelem- és iparpolitikák következményeit, hanem azért is, mert reálisabb talajra támaszkodva lehet becsülni az integráció egyesek számára félelmetes, mások számára örvendetes várható eredményeit.
