A magyar banktulajdonosi szerkezet sajátos vonásai
[Special features of the Hungarian bank ownership structure]

Abstract

A magyar bankrendszerben szinte egyedülálló tulajdonosi struktúra alakult ki az elmúlt évtized folyamán. Nemcsak azért, mert az állami tulajdon az összes banktőkében néhány év alatt kétharmadról egyötödre csökkent, hanem mert ezzel párhuzamosan a külföldi főleg szakmai befektetők kezében összpontosuló tulajdon aránya 60 százalék fölé emelkedett. A cikk a magyar banktulajdonosi struktúrát alakító kormányzati stratégiák felderítésén és a kialakult szerkezet sajátosságainak jellemzésén túl arra is kísérletet tesz, hogy a bankok helyzetében és hatékonyságában bekövetkezett változások, valamint a tulajdonosi törekvések tükrében megvizsgálja a létrejött tulajdonosi szerkezet hatásait a magyar bankrendszer működésére. A banktulajdonlás és a hatékonyság összefüggésének elemzése alapján és a nemzetközi vizsgálatok eredményeinek tükrében arra a következtetésre jut, hogy a külföldi bankok belépését megengedő és azoknak a bankprivatizációban is teret engedő politika és gyakorlat következtében a magyar bankrendszer működése mind több vonásában hasonlít a fejlett országokéhoz.
