Lohnentwicklung in der Schweiz von 1980 bis 2006

Abstract

Die Entwicklung der Löhne ist für jede Volkswirtschaft von zentraler Bedeutung, denn die Lohnhöhe entscheidet nicht nur über die Arbeitsmarktlage, sondern – zusammen mit der Beschäftigung – auch über die Einkommensentwicklung. Eine Darstellung der Lohnentwicklung in der Schweiz für die vergangenen Jahre ist mit dem Umstand konfrontiert, dass sich die statistischen Angaben zu diesem Thema zum Teil erheblich unterscheiden. Im Folgenden geht es also erst einmal darum, Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede der verschiedenen statistischen Quellen und der Daten darzustellen und zu kommentieren. Anschliessend werden mittels einer einfachen ökonometrischen Analyse die wichtigsten Bestimmungsfaktoren für die beobachteten Lohnveränderungen herausgearbeitet. Für die Lohnbildung ist die Funktionsweise des Arbeitsmarktes ausschlaggebend; deshalb steht eine kurze Charakterisierung des schweizerischen Arbeitsmarktes am Beginn der folgenden Ausführungen.
