The Extended Confiscation – A New Safety Measure in Romanian Criminal Law

Abstract

This paper deals with recent legislative changes in law governing special confiscation occurred in Romanian criminal law. The authors sense the emergence of the “extended confiscation”, and notice the trend of the European legislator and, consequently, of the Romanian one to extend the sphere of confiscated goods as a result of committing criminal offenses.
