déterminants de la pérennité des institutions de microfinance au Cameroun

Abstract

Cet article a pour objectif d’identifier les facteurs qui influencent la pérennité des Institutions de Microfinance camerounaises (IMF). En utilisant la technique des MCG sur un échantillon de 62 IMF dont l’âge varie entre 9 ans et plus sur la période 2009-2015, les résultats de nos analysent montrent premièrement que, parmi les variables retenues pour mesurer la structure financière des IMF, les fonds propres, subventions et les dépôts) sont les principales variables qui expliquent la pérennité des IMF de notre échantillon. Deuxièmement, l’étude révèle que l’efficience mesurée par le portefeuille à risque 30, la productivité du personnel, et le coût par emprunteur ; ainsi que la portée mesurée par le nombre d’emprunteur actif, le pourcentage de femme emprunteuse, la taille et enfin le statut juridique de l’IMF, affectent significativement la pérennité des IMF au Cameroun.
