Abstract

Depuis l'ind�pendance, l'Alg�rie a pass� pr�s de la moiti� des cinquante derni�res ann�es � construire un mod�le de d�veloppement socialiste et l'autre moiti� a essay� d'en sortir, entrav�e par un syst�me de conservation du pouvoir, dans l'incapacit� de diversifier son syst�me productif. Apr�s avoir rappel� dans une premi�re partie (Ipag Letter n�4) le mod�le de d�veloppement suivi par l'Alg�rie apr�s son ind�pendance, nous analysons ici les difficult�s auxquelles l'Alg�rie est confront�e : corruption, d�ficit d'infrastructures, perte de comp�titivit�...
