Abstract

I bring attention to some special transportation programs that should be of special interest to readers of Transportation Science . The Center for Transportation Studies at MIT will offer a coordinated set of seven Transportation Programs during August 1979. These programs are designed for transportation scientists and analysts, managers, planners, and engineers in both industry and government, as well as university faculty. Each of the courses will discuss current management, planning, policy and research issues in its subject area, and will describe new methodologies for analysis of these issues. For most of the Programs offered, students may attend one or both weeks.
